The Flash: DC FanDome Panel
the flash gets new images during its panel
The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, just got its DC FanDome panel earlier today. Barry Allen got a new suit, and we got a huge update on whether Michael Keaton will be returning as the Caped Crusader after a confirmation that Ben Affleck would be starring.
“It’s more organic, you can see the light embedded in it,” said director Andy Muschietti, referring to Barry’s flashy new spandex. Fans should also be thrilled considering the fact that the DCEU is finally getting more involved with the Multi-Verse, which was announced when we saw an image of Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne joining Miller’s Flash in a striking new pic.
“All of these stories and characters can start to collide,” said screenwriter Christina Hodson. “The cinematic multiverse is going to be born out of this movie.” And despite the controversy Ezra Miller has been involved in, I am absolutely hyped for the film itself.
What controversy? Well a video went viral that reportedly consisted of Miller choking a woman in a bar in Iceland. The filmmakers, and, surprisingly, the fanbase have just let it go.
Muschietti, the director, is best known for directing the two IT movies, has proven himself as a pretty capable filmmaker, although I am worried about the genre. His usual thing seems to be horror, and this is full-on superhero action, but we’ll see. His wife, and producer Barbara Muschietti was also on the panel.
Here are the first images for the movie:
