Is It Worth Your While?

I went to see this film with my friend, and honestly it was much better than I expected it to be. First of all the directing. I thought the directing by Gary Ross was stylish, and overall solid. I think that overall the only issue with the directing was that he made it seem like there was no problems that occurred during the heist like it seemed much to easy. This made it start leaning towards a crumbling plot, but the style of the directing ultimately saved the movie from a terrible plot. Also Gary Ross made the film really funny making it much more entertaining than most heist movies. Overall I think Gary Ross has done a good job with the film. I did not see any problems in the film, but I can tell you that it’s not the you must see film of the year. It’s fun for certain types of people really, but it’s not to die for. overall  it’s for people who look for style in movies, so if your one of those types of people than be my guest. If your not one of those people than I mean it’s your choice all I can say is that Oceans 8 may not be perfect, but it’s still fun, fast paced, and stylish.

How Was the Cast

The overall cast in Ocean’s 8 was actually quite good. First we have Sandra Bullock as Debbie Ocean. She suited the role quite well performing with not only style, but tons of comedy, and enjoyment for the audience I have not seen many other Ocean's films, but thanks to this one, I want to see the rest of the franchise. Next we have Cate Blanchett as Lou. She’s just a really funny actress, and I love her work in previous films. Depending on what type of film she is doing she can just bring happiness into the film especially this one. Third we have Anne Hathaway as Daphne Kluger she has improved after many years since The Princess Diaries, and since then she has adapted more to her character in every recent movie she has done up until now. So all I have to say is... what a big improvement. Fourth, and finally we have Helena Bonham Carter as Rose Weil. Overall she can suit any role thrown at her whether it’s an evil witch lady like in Harry Potter or even a fashion Designer in this. She always uses all of the talent that she has to create the character, and bring that character to life making any film that she does very entertaining in pretty much every way.

Aging ‘The 8’

I gave this film 12+ because of mostly sex stuff. There are brief kisses, one man is seen handcuffed to a bed by a woman wearing only a bra, and underwear there are constant uses of language such as f--k, and s--t, and so on. There is barely any violence I mean there is just one off camera scene of Debbie holding a knife up to her ex, but nothing else too bad, overall Ocean’s 8 is for tweens, and up.
