So What’s The Story?

Starring Chris Pratt, and Bryce Dallas Howard. Comes the second installment to the Jurassic World franchise. In which Owen Grady, and Claire Dearing go on a mission to save all of the dinosaurs on the island from extinction. But turns out the people that sent them only want them for another dino experiment that goes terribly wrong! Soon Owen, and Claire find themselves in more danger than they could ever imagine.

Is It Worth Your While?

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is not the best dino thrill movie, but also not the worst. First of all the directing. I thought that the directing was overall pretty good. J. A. Bayona directed the thrills very delicately, in hope of not making them too confusing which he did a fairly well job doing even if he added parts in the film that did not need to be added especially the twenty minute dinosaur selling scene which was just too boring to even witness. The special effects in the film were pretty great! I mean so were the first ones, but these created an astounding, and solidly thrilling 3D experience that you can just literally be apart of. Storywise not so great. I found the story completely predictable, and to simple to match the classic Jurassic Park plot. Overall Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has solid directing, and amazing special effects, but a predictable, and bloated story.

How Was the Cast

The overall cast in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was okay. First of all we have Chris Pratt as Owen Grady. Chris Pratt can be in any film, and bring tons of joy into it, and this film in particular needed his charming, and funny style to try, and help save the story. Next we have Bryce Dallas Howard. Still a bad actress, but she still improved off of the original Jurassic World (2015) one reason, is that she did not have to say a lot of lines during the film so that made her much less annoying to watch. Finally we have Ted Levine as Ken Wheatley overall he did fine in the film, but maybe they could have gotten someone better for the role I mean maybe if he was a postman! He could have been better, but evil scientist I mean come on he completely did not seem totally up for it.

Aging ‘The Fallen Kingdom’

I gave this film 13+ because of thrills. There are a few blood spurts along with a few intense jumpscares from dinosaurs. People are in great peril, guns are pulled, and shot at victims, and many people die. But Owen Grady is a very loyal character who will do anything to save him, and his friends or loved ones. I can tell you this though the Jurassic series just got a hell of a lot more scary. Overall I recommend this movie for younger teens.
