It’s now May, so we dug deep into everything that’s coming to Netflix, and everything you have to watch before it leaves the streaming giant! Coming this May, we have very anticipated shows such as Hollywood, Space Force, the second season of Dead to Me and action comedy Netflix original film The Lovebirds! Fan-favorites like Avatar: The Last Airbender will also be available very soon.

There’s also Kimmy Schmidt vs The Reverend, an interactive special based on the hit, four-season show along with Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours to Kill, Patton Oswalt: I Love Everything and more!

THE MOST POPULAR OF MAY ON NETFLIX:

HOLLYWOOD: SEASON 1

What’s it about: Hollywood is a new Netflix original limited series from the talented Ryan Murphy (The Politician, American Horror Story) about aspiring actors and filmmakers attempting to make it big. It stars: David Corenswet, Darren Criss, Jeremy Pope and Laura Harrier.

Premiere Date: May 1, 2020

DEAD TO ME: SEASON 2

What’s it about: The second season of Dead to Me doubles on twists as it sees Jen and Judy who have to cover up the dead body body of Jen’s former boyfriend with a suspicious detective hot on their tails. It stars: Christina Applegate, Laura Cardellini, Diana Maria Riva and Max Jenkins.

Premiere Date: May 8, 2020

THE EDDY: SEASON 1

What’s it about: The Eddy is a drama that takes place in the multicultural streets of modern-day Paris centering around Elliot, a former pianist now owning a struggling club called The Eddy. It stars: Andre Holland, Joanna Kulig, Amandla Stenberg and Melissa George.

Premiere Date: May 8, 2020

AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER: SEASONS 1,2 AND 3

What’s it about: Avatar: The Last Airbender is a popular animated series about a boy with special powers who suddenly wakes up after 100 years and finds the world in chaos and himself the only chance at peace. It stars: Zach Tyler, Mae Whitman, Jack De Sena and Jessie Flower.

Premiere Date: May 15, 2020

THE LOVEBIRDS (MOVIE)

What’s it about: The Lovebirds is an upcoming mix of both rom-com and action comedy about a couple who get wrongly convicted of a murder, forcing them to find the killer and clear their names. It stars: Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani.

Premiere Date: May 22, 2020

SPACE FORCE: SEASON 1

What it’s about: The first season of Space Force is about four-star general Mark R. Naird who dreams of leading the Air Force, but instead he is forced to lead the US Armed Forces’ sixth branch, Space Force. The team’s mission is to get American boots back on the Moon. It stars: Steve Carell, John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz and Diana Silvers.
